Zoran Zaev is a burden and is bringing down the Republic of Macedonia. The country remains outside EU structures because of the incompetence of the government, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
“In SDSM’s election program, they promised a date for the start of negotiations by the end of 2017; they lied. Zoran Zaev personally promised that he would speed up the ratification of the agreement of capitulation to change the name in Parliament, just in time for the EU summit on June 26, in order to receive a green light for an unconditional start of negotiations. Zaev lied”, reads the statement by VMRO-DPMNE.
The opposition argue that Macedonia is ‘running on the spot’, with corruption at a high level, the institutions and the judiciary are politicized, and crime within the leadership spreading.
“Instead of reforms and projects that will benefit the citizens, Zoran Zaev is committed to the sale of state interests. While the state is failing economically due to the incompetence of the government, Zoran Zaev is making harmful agreements which are humiliating for the Republic of Macedonia”, believes VMRO-DPMNE.
They also added that the prime minister has caused vital damage to the position of the country, by accepting changes to the Constitution, identity and language.
