Journalist Hristijan Banevski was hit in the head with a stick holding a flag during the protest of “For a Unified Macedonia” in Skopje. TV 24 reported about the incident and stated that Banevski was firstly verbally attacked, and then he was hit in the head.
“At today’s protest, TV 24’s crew was attacked again, verbally and then physically, when one of the supporters who was holding a flag in his hand headed towards our crew and swung at us”, said Banevski in his report.
On the 28th of February, during the protest that was organized by the “For a United Macedonia” initiative, A1on’s journalist and cameraman, Vlatko Zelceski and Aleksandar Todeski, were brutally attacked.
