After the press conference this afternoon, where Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva announced that she submitted 17 indictments against 97 people and seven legal entities, teams from the SPO started transporting evidence to the Basic Court Skopje I.
The evidence, packed in ten boxes, was transported in vans to the Criminal Court, and as Janeva announced, today and tomorrow there will be continuous evidence for the cases being tried delivered to the court.
The Special Prosecutor noted that the process will not be stopped because of the court’s holiday – which usually starts on July 15th, and ends at the beginning of September – but the court must immediately begin the proceedings within 24 hours, as there are emergency cases which require custody for the defendants.
