The Government’s proposal for dismissal of the State Public Prosecutor Marko Zvrlevski was signed today by the Government’s General Secretary, Dragi Rashkovski and was sent to the Parliament.
After it is received, the Parliament will set a session during which the MPs will have to analyze and discuss the Zvrlevski’s dismissal. For his dismissal, the approval of 61 MPs is needed.
According to the Law for Public Prosecution, Zvrlevski has a right to be present at the Parliament’s session and to have a say regarding the Government’s decision for his dismissal.
Otherwise, due to the absence of the Parliament’s president, Talat Xhaferri, who is taking part in a Security Forum in Riga, Letonia, the Parliament’s next plenary session is set for Thursday.
