The Constitutional Court will rule on the initiative for assessing the constitutionality of the Law on the Special Prosecutor’s Office, reported “Telma” TV.
After the case sat in storage in a draw, for a long 8 months, it has finally been assigned to a reporting judge. It may be found on the daily agenda for sessions as early as Wednesday.
Experts in this matter believe that the court will not reach a decision that will disband the SPO because it stems from the Pržino Agreement, which was achieved by consensus and all four leaders of the four parties, the VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM, DUI and DPA are signatories to the Agreement.
The SPO say there is no basis for the Law on the SPO to be declared unconstitutional.
