Citizens of Republic of Macedonia have won another victory for democracy. Freely, on basis of free political conviction and free will, they went to cast their votes at the Local elections 2017 and they fulfilled their right guaranteed by the Constitution, stated the Government of Republic of Macedonia in the turnout of the elections, where SDSM and DUI, which are the main part of the government coalition, have accomplished a decisive victory.
The Government stated that all institutions responsible for the elections have fulfilled their obligations.
“At the same time, all institutions responsible for carrying out regular elections were meeting the expectations of their professional duties and obligations and have accomplished all necessary activities for carrying out the elections,” said the government’s press release.
