The Appeal Court in Skopje will accept the appeal lodged by the Special Public Prosecution and the wiretapped conversations will be used in the trial of the “tenders” case where the prime suspect is the former Minister of Culture, Elizabeta Kancheska – Milevska.
As was confirmed by the Appeal Court, this decision was based upon the previous two decisions by the Court that has allowed the use of the “bombs” as an evidence in the case of “Three Hundred” and the trial of the violence outbreak in front of the municipality of Centar in June 2013, that is known to the general public as “Slaps.”
The decision of the Appeal court arrives after SPO’s prosecutors and Kanchevska-Milevska’s attorneys have met at a public session in order to face the arguments “for” and “against” the use of the wiretapped conversations as evidence in the trial of “Tenders” case.
