The blockade in Parliament continues, with a series of interruptions, requests, breaks and apologies

-

At the sixth parliamentary session, where the fifth item on the agenda should have be the discussion on the proposal from the Government for the dismissal of the Attorney General, Marko Zvrlevski, was terminated by the Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, at 16.20pm, after MP Dimitar Stevanandzija, representing himself as the coordinator of one of the ten parliamentary groups, requested a 60-minute break, and during that time the Ombudsman to apologize to MPs.

Earlier, Zoran Ilioski requested an apology, also saying that the Ombudsman Ixhet Memeti, should apologize to the MPs.

Before today’s continuation of the sixth session came to and and scheduling the next one for tomorrow at 11:00am, Xhaferi said that what the MPs from VMRO-DPMNE were doing was an obvious abuse of the acts and that the citizens will easily understand what is actually happening.

“It is abuse, but I do not intend to obstruct you, the Rules and Regulations allow it, you will get an hour’s break. I will remind, for the sake of the citizens, that I previously stated that the intention of forming the ten parliamentary groups is nonsense and that you want to block procedures, but let the citizens decide. You will get a break, and because you want to block the work of Parliament, I interrupt the session and it will continue tomorrow at 11:00am”, Xhaferi said, responding to Stevanandzija.
