Kanceska-Milevska: Zaev signed the agreement with Bulgaria to change the name based on the Greek model

Skopje, 8 August, 2017 - 18:04 (META)

The Agreement for Good Neighborly Relations with the Republic of Bulgaria, which was signed by the Government led by Zoran Zaev, goes against the Macedonian state and national interests, and the Macedonian side is the loser in this process, said the former Minister of Culture and current MP from VMRO-DPMNE, Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska.

“In Article 2, paragraph 2 of the Agreement, Bulgaria says it will agree to the decision that will be made by the leadership of NATO. With this article, Zoran Zaev has literally obliged that the Republic of Macedonia receives support from the Republic of Bulgaria to join NATO, when they receive Greece’s blessing, that is, when we change the name of our country according to the Greek model. If Zoran Zaev wanted to a fair position for the Republic of Macedonia, the agreement should have included the ruling from the International Court in the Hague regarding the name dispute with Greece, which according to all norms of international law, ruled that the Republic of Macedonia could join NATO under the provisional term”, says Kanceska-Milevska.

The MP from VMRO-DPMNE says that the Macedonian people can punish the Social Democratic Union for their attitude towards the local elections on October 15th.tt6

VMRO-DPMNE: In Bulgaria, Zaev fiercely hit out at the Macedonian state

Skopje, 22 June, 2017 - 12:48 (META)

Zoran Zaev is becoming a serious risk for Macedonia’s national interests and during his two-day visit to Bulgaria, he fiercely hit out at the Macedonian state, said VMRO-DPMNE’s morning press release.

“Does SDS and Zoran Zaev believe that the Republic of Macedonia has no history of its own? Is Macedonian history meaningless to Zoran Zaev, so he decided to announce that there will be changes made to Macedonian textbooks, anything that is not in the spirit of cooperation between the two countries.

VMRO-DPMNE is extremely concerned about the lack of transparency and the ease with which Zaev approached an extremely serious issue, such as the conclusion of the agreement with Bulgaria”, reads the party’s statement.

VMRO-DPMNE demands to see a report regarding what Zaev arranged during his visit to Sofia and they say that the ruling party should clear up the dilemmas that are troubling the Macedonian people after Zoran Zaev’s two-day visit to Bulgaria.

VMRO-DPMNE will not participate in the scheduled coordination meeting in Parliament

Skopje, 15 May, 2017 - 11:33 (META)

Talat Xhaferi was not elected Parliament Speaker of the Republic of Macedonia in a legal process and the parliamentary group VMRO-DPMNE does not see why they would respond to an invitation from the MP Talat Xhaferi, which he sent in his capacity as Parliament Speaker, said the regular morning press release from VMRO-DPMNE.

They went on to say that the party will not participate in the scheduled coordination meeting in Parliament.

“While they accepted a platform from a foreign country, and illegally attempted to elect a Parliament Speaker, now they are looking for excuses not to hold local elections, which are scheduled and are necessary at this point in time. The criminal, Zoran Zaev should know that holding local elections has nothing to do with the formation of the government”, added VMRO-DPMNE.

The party says that SDSM are trying to postpone the local elections because party personnel “do not have the courage to face the Macedonian people, after everything they have done.”

Today, Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi will be meeting with representatives from the political parties in Parliament. At the coordination meeting, MPs should be deciding when to continue the constitutive session and how it should develop.

At the coordination meeting, it is also expected that MPs will discuss possible solutions for after the expiration of the mandates for local authorities and to define the next steps for scheduling local elections.

VMRO-DPMNE: Macedonia is becoming a victim of Zaev and SDS’ anti-state behavior by SDS

Skopje, 7 May, 2017 - 10:45 (META)

“SDS was quiet when the Albanian flag was placed in the cabinet of the president of the Parliament. Now SDS is quiet after Talat Xhaferi’s statement that he will make the Albanian language official on the whole territory and the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia will be the third Parliament in the region where the sessions will be held in the Albanian language” said the VMRO-DPMNE’s regular morning press release.

The press release states that “this time the whole of the country is becoming a victim of an anti-state behavior on part of Zaev and SDS.”

-In order to save themselves from a responsibility for done crimes, Zaev and SDS are ready to sell the state and national interests of Macedonia – said the press release.

VMRO-DPMNE: SDS owes the people an apology, whose revolt they deliberately caused

Skopje, 30 April, 2017 - 12:09 (META)

SDS brutally raped the will of the people and prevented the right of discussion with their democratically elected representatives, said VMRO-DPMNE in their statement.

“SDS deliberately and violently, as announced by their journalists and experts, conducted a performance that they call an election of a Parliament Speaker and they did it with premeditation and put themselves, other MPs and employees in danger in Parliament, which impacted a popular revolt, which for days has heightened inevitably led to a state of escalation. SDS owes the people an apology, whose revolt, they caused deliberately. SDS must bear the political and legal responsibility for the situation they brought upon Parliament and the setback of democracy in the Republic of Macedonia”, say VMRO-DPMNE.

The party added that the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, do not need divisions, violence and foreign platforms, the people want laws to be respected, the rule of law and programs and platforms for economic development and technological progress.

“Out of patriotic reasons” VMRO-DPMNE renamed SDSM into SDS without the ‘M’

Skopje, 10 April, 2017 - 16:38 (META)

Recently, VMRO-DPMNE has renamed the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) and in the party’s official announcements and it’s party members’ statements, they have began addressing their political opponent as SDS instead of SDSM.

Out of the parliamentary rostrum it pronounced as “es-de-es” and this sort of newly formed speech was accepted or is followed by analysts and columnists close to this party and so they are speaking or writing about “democracy according to SDS,” “SDS”, “Plan B” that “SDS will try to take over the government by force” etc.

Previously, VMRO-DPMNE was using the temporary reference “SDS” when it was addressing or pointing at the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia, but starting from the 6th of April it became regular practice in party official announcements.

When “Meta” asked why VMRO-DPMNE had renamed SDSM, Ivo Kotevski, the Director of the Communications Centre, in a style characteristic for the party’s announcements, by using the abbreviation “SDS,” replied that they did so because “by accepting the Tirana platform, Zoran Zaev has stepped deep into anti-state and anti-national policies.”

“The pardoned criminal Zoran Zaev has admitted that it is not convenient for SDS to act as patriots and now the whole public is a witness that with the acceptance of the Tirana platform he has stepped deep in the anti-state and anti-national policies. Nevertheless, there is no citizen in the Republic of Macedonia that won’t be able to name at least five reasons why no one looks at SDS as a political party that is defending the Macedonian state and national interests”, wrote back Kotevski.

Last week, from the parliamentary rostrum, SDSM’s MP, Damjan Manchevski, addressed his colleagues from the opposing party as DPMNE without using VMRO (Inner Macedonian Revolutionary Organizations) stressing that it was his personal opinion.

MPs from VMRO-DMNE demanded that their party is called by its whole name, and in the contrary, they said, they will start name SDSM in different ways.

Otherwise, SDSM in its official announcements addresses VMRO-DPMNE using the party’s full name.
