At a government session, it was decided that starting from the 1st of October the electricity with a cheaper tariff will be reintroduced. This was announced at a press conference by the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
This measure will cost 8 million euros, funds that, as was stated by Zaev, will be returned to the citizens. The cheaper electricity tariff will be available between 14 and 16h and from 22h until 7h every day while on Sunday it will be on all day long.
-We return the cheaper electricty tariff in order to improve the citizen’s life. In Macedonia, people can live better only if we strive for it together. This measure will lead towards life for everyone in Macedonia – said Zaev.
The VP for Economic Affairs, Kocho Angjushev said that this measure was made in consultation with all the participants in the energetic processes and after a previously conducted thorough analysis.
