While cleaning the snow, the Dutch Embassy in Skopje turned the whole affair into entertainment.
Yesterday, Ambassador Wouter Plomp and employees in accordance with the regulations for access to clean facilities, chose to turn the accumulated snow into a snow(o)man. They dressed him up in a cap and an orange T-shirt, which is characteristic for the Netherlands.
The snow(o)man was placed directly in front of the front entrance of the embassy with the message “Macedonians keep in touch with the Dutch” and greets passers-by and visitors to the embassy.
Photographs of the fun cleaning session were published on the Facebook page of the embassy with the message:
“When life gives you snow, make a snow(o)man. Meet our temporary colleague, Mr. Sneeuwpop!”
