Despite today’s re-vote at one polling station in the municipality of Tearce, the mandates of the political parties remain the same as during the first results from the voting on the 11th of December.
VMRO-DPMNE has 51 seats, SDSM, 49 mandates, DUI has 10, Besa Movement has 5, The Alliance of the Albanians has 3 and DPA has 2 mandates.
According to SEC’s official results, at the re-voting in Tearce, SDSM has won 245 votes, VMRO-DPMNE 149, VMRO for Macedonia 2, DUI 1, DPA 2, The Alliance for the Albanians 1 and there were 3 invalid ballots.
Still, regardless of SDSM’s victory at this polling station, the votes were not enough to make a turnover and to cause a change in the mandates.
After the voting on the 11th of December at the 6th Electoral district, the difference between SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE was 307 votes in the advantage of VMRO-DPMNE, a difference that SDSM failed to reach with the re-voting in Tearce.
