VMRO-DPMNE has to come to its senses and accept that it is in the opposition now. VMRO-DPMNE’s criminal leadership cannot hold the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia hostage. There are people in VMRO-DPMNE who know that the criminals in their party are jeopardizing the future of their children too and they have an obligation to act reasonably, said SDSM today in its regular morning statement.
The political party is calling upon Nikola Gruevski and VMRO-DPMNE’s leadership not to inciter violence “to protect themselves from taking responsibility for their crimes.”
“There must be a transfer of power and that is the will of the majority, and VMRO DPMNE and Gjorge Ivanov are obliged to allow a peaceful transfer of power! The will of the majority of citizens is clear and so is the will of 700.000 citizens, and over 67 MPs have the right and duty to elect a new Parliament Speaker, and then a new pro reforms government. That will happen in accordance with the Constitution, the Rules and Regulations, and the laws”, said the announcement.
