Ruskovska: The whole structure of VMRO-DPMNE was put into force to carry out the attacks on the 27th of April

-

After an enormous pre-investigation procedure, an order was given yesterday for an investigation procedure against the organizers of the attacks that occurred on the 27th of April or the following five suspects: N.G., T.V., M.j., S.R., and N.B. who are charged with committing a felony “terrorist jeopardizing of the constitutional order and security,” informed today at a joint press conference the State Public Prosecutor Ljubomior Joveski and the Prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska from the Basic Public Prosecution for fighting organized crime and corruption.

They announced that the scope of the investigation might be enlarged if other evidence is provided.

-The suspect N.G., a former President of a political party, together with two more suspects has summoned the citizens to protests and together with other suspects S.R. and M.J. have put to use the whole structure of that political party and material assets for this purpose. They were coordinating with the city, local and municipality committees including constituencies, and they were providing directions and were summoning the party members to attend mass rallies. They were also giving directions on the critical day in order to achieve massive attendance and to storm inside the Parliament – said Ruskovska.

Regarding the asylum seeker, Nikola Gruevski, Ruskovska explained that this is an investigation and that the evidence will be sent to the court and the court will lodge a request for extradition to the Ministry of Justice.

The Law on Amnesty, stressed Ruskovska, the crime wasn’t abolished, but people were given amnesty for certain activities. For those reasons, she concludes that the Law on Amnesty does not include the organizers.

In the light of recent events against the participants in the attacks of Parliament on the 27th of April 2017, since yesterday, the former Minister of Transportation and Communications and former high-ranking official at VMRO-DPMNE, Mile Janakieski, and the former Minister of Labor and Social Policy and Education, Spiro Ristovski, were put into custody, while the former President of the Parliament, Trajko Veljanoski, has called upon his MP immunity at the court and has left home.
