Egyptian officials have confirmed a Russian plane carrying more than 200 passengers and crew crashed this morning in central Sinai, in Egypt.
The airplane was an “Airbus A-321”, crashed very soon after taking off from the Sharm el-Sheikh resort and was on route to
St. Petersburg.
A police official from the rescue team said that the plane was completely destroyed and the likelihood of survivors are very slim.
The plane had mainly Russian tourists on board.
