Professors learn from students and set up a “Plenum”

Skopje, 25 December, 2014 - 15:43 (META)

Reforms in higher education led teachers to follow the footsteps of the students. Tomorrow, at 1 pm, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, professors who signed the open letter to the Government and hundred others who joined them will establish “Professorial Plenum”.

New page “Professorial Plenum”, on which a press release was also published, appeared today at the social network Facebook. The press release reads that the plenum is “an informal group in order to encourage public, open and informed debate on the reform of higher education in the Republic of Macedonian with the participation of all concerned parties”.

“Professorial Plenum” stands for termination of the adoption of the latest amendments in the Law on higher education and for initiation of a genuine public debate regarding the necessary changes in the educational system.
