Dutch Ambassador Wouter Plomp said that the Przhino Agreement should be implemented and to be completely fulfilled, not just formally.
“All aspects of the Przhino Agreement should be respected and implemented, and the conduct of free, fair and inclusive elections is one of them. This political agreement or any other agreement is not about ticking off boxes, but about the true commitment and full implementation of the reforms that were agreed upon.” Said Plomp in a written statement, after the appointment of a transitional Government who will conduct early elections and the SDSM decision to boycott elections, if held on April 24.
The Dutch Ambassador calls upon all political leaders to find a solution on the outstanding issues regarding the Agreement.
“Therefore, all stakeholders have to work closely together without further delay to address the outstanding issues in order to enable credible elections to take place, while respecting all other elements of the agreement that offers long-term structural solution to the political crisis in the Republic of Macedonia.” Said Plomp.
