Osmani: We will begin with an aggressive campaign for the realization of reform priorities

-

The government has begun an aggressive campaign to achieve the key reform priorities, to achieve progress in the next few months which will solely be committed to the EU agenda, and then we will be able to start negotiations for accession to the EU, said Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bujar Osmani at a press conference.

Osmani said the visit to Brussels last week was successful, because the government delegation was received at the highest level and encountered a positive approach from the top officials of the EU.

“Under an aggressive campaign which have been in preparation for several months, the government held meetings with ministries and departments, and soon talks over the priorities will include the civil society”, said Osmani.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that under the platform of the Albanian parties, they will be involved in all the core issues, including the name dispute and tomorrow’s visit to Sofia will be attended by ministers from the Albanian bloc to show that together, we are willing to resolve all issues of importance to the country.

Osmani emphasized that the implementation of an aggressive reform campaign was established by a reform commission to define action towards reform, which will offer measures, targets and a time frame.
