The Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, had a meeting today with the President, Gjorge Ivanov, whom he informed about his visit to Brussels with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov and the messages they received from the ministers of foreign affairs of the member states of the EU.
“We have one time chance, only in 2018 to make a historical step forward and to close the issue with the EU and NATO. It is necessary to put aside all of our personal, party and ethnic priorities in order to achieve a consensus and to deliver a result”, said Osmani.
Osmani asked Ivanov to give his support for the reformatory process including support for securing a consensus and participation from the opposition, about the laws that will be necessary for that, including a support from the two-thirds majority in the Parliament.
