Today, in Government, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Bujar Osmani held a financial contributor’s meeting, where ambassadors and representatives from international organizations attended, in order to reach an agreement and understanding regarding the contribution of donors in the process of creating, implementing and monitoring sectoral national policies and the European integration of the country.
“In a time of rapid change, we need all the help that is made available to us, therefore, there is no big or small donor for us, but every donor is important regarding the conditions of the ambitious government agenda”, said Osmani.
He expressed confidence that the administration will readily welcome increased funds for health, education, infrastructure, digital agendas and support for business.
In the upcoming period, Osmani stressed that donors are expected to contribute to the implementation of sectoral policies, the change of institutional culture which is aimed at achieving results and ensuring a long-term effect of the reforms, which would ensure the sustainability of the benefits from the reforms in the future.
