The UN mediator in the name dispute, Matthew Nimetz, will be meeting today in Brussels with the Macedonian and Greek negotiators, Vasko Naumovski and Adamantios Vassilakis, after a long break in the negotiations about the name dispute. After that, after 12h, it is expected official statements to be issued.
The planned dinner of the delegations from Macedonia and Greece with mediator Matthew Nimetz that was supposed to happen yesterday evening in Brussels was cancelled because neither Vassilakis nor Naumovski or Niemetz couldn’t have reached to Brussels on time due to a snowstorm.
So far, there aren’t any official announcements whether Nimetz will come out with new ideas, suggestions or a new proposal, even though the Greek media don’t exclude that possibility.
