Yesterday, the Ministry of Interior had issued certificates to those who had expressed intention to seek asylum to 2,140 foreigners, of whom 1,419 are males, 245 females, and 413 children accompanied the holder of the certificate, and more than 63 children were travelling without a parent.
According to the citizenship of persons who were issued certificates, 975 are Syrians, 802 are Afghans, and 192 persons from Iraq.
The Department for Asylum in the last 24 hours did not receive any applications for asylum.
From June the 19th, a total of 113,501 certificates for foreign nationals have been issued, of which 75,116 are males, 15 133 are female, 19 255 are children accompanied by the holder of the certificate, and another 3.997 certificates are issued to children travelling without a parent.
