The working groups of the political parties who are all signatories to the Pržino Agreement, the VMRO-DPMNE, DUI, DPA and the SDSM today at 11:30 will resume talks at the residence of the European Union in Przino and will discuss reforms to the media.
The meeting comes after yesterday’s visit by the German special envoy Johannes Haindl. He met with the leaders of the SDSM, DUI and DPA, Zoran Zaev, Ali Ahmeti and Menduh Thaci, and with a party delegation from the VMRO-DPMNE.
Talks between parties broke down in mid-June due to the diametrically opposed views of the VMRO-DPMNE and the SDSM on media regulation and the manner of purging the voter lists. The two parties are blaming each other for the breakdown of the negotiations.
