The President of the United for Macedonia party, Ljube Boskoski, is celebrating his freedom in his home village of Chelopek. The photograph above was taken in the yard of the church “St. Nikola”, reported “Sakam da kazam”.
Boshkoski asked for privacy at this time and not to be disturbed by the media, and for now, will refrain from giving a public statement.
At the lunch in the churchyard, 60 presidents of various municipal committees of his party from Macedonia attended. Also, friends and relatives of Ljube Boshkoski from Chelopek celebrated his release.
Ljube Boshkoski, who served a five-year sentence, was released from “Idrizovo” prison yesterday.
He was arrested on June 5, 2011, outside the restaurant “Vodenica” in Skopje for allegedly illegally financing his election campaign. He was sentenced to five years in prison.
