-

In the period of 5-10 October 2017, the British Larondina Special Needs Dance Company will be visiting Macedonia again for performances in Skopje and Bitola.

The Company’s performance is organized by the Embassy of United Kingdom in Macedonia, the Helsinki Committee and the Resource Center for Parents of children with special needs.

As part of the visit, apart from the shows, several workshops are planned in more schools in Skopje and Bitola about the rights of persons with special needs with an accent given to their possibilities against limitations.

Established twenty years ago by Angelina Alessendre, the Larondina Special Needs Dance Company has performed throughout the UK, in Russia, America, France, Macedonia and other countries.
The company’s objective is to bring teachers from Europe and further afield to London for training in the special methods used to fulfill the school’s dual agenda which is to uncover the artistic talents latent in people with special needs and to develop well-adjusted and confident individuals able to lead fulfilled lives.

In Bitola it is in the National Theatre at 18.00 hrs on Friday (6 October) and in Skopje in TV 21 (former Kino Vardar) from 18.00 hrs on 7 October (Saturday).
