Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the Organization of Employers of the Republic of Macedonia today resumed talks on amending the General Collective Agreement for the private sector of the economy, including the recourse for vacation.
– The partners agreed that the right to recourse for vacation stays for workers in the private sector in Macedonia, provided that it would be related to membership in a trade union. In certain cases would determine the possibility to take into account the economic and financial situation of the employer during the payment, which mandatory special agreement with the trade union at the employer upon prior consent of the union at a higher level branch, i.e. activity would be made – reads the press release.
Establishment of a working group, which is required to determine the exact wording of the amendments and additions, was also agreed on the meeting.
