Juncker believes a settlement between Greece and the EU would be reached

-

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker today welcomed the return to “normal process” in negotiations between Athens and EU for financial rescue of Greece, which, according to him, opens the way for a favorable outcome for both sides.

“I must admit that I was very pessimistic in the past few weeks, since there was no progress, but we are now back to normal process” Juncker said in an address to the European Parliament in Brussels, reports “A1 on”.

Juncker expressed confidence that a solution will be reached, which will be simultaneously beneficial to both Greece and the EU.

According to Juncker, according to the agreement between Athens and the Eurozone, the list of reforms will be reviewed first by the representatives of international lenders of Greece – EU, IMF and ECB – before a meeting of the Eurogroup to consider the best way to achieve progress is scheduled.
