Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva, today announced that in the upcoming period, the SPO will have an increase of people frequenting their offices regarding their cases.
In a written statement, they added that they would not reveal specific details because of the confidentiality of preliminary investigations.
“In the upcoming period, there will be an increase in the frequency of people at this Public Prosecutor’s Office. According to the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) people who are being called will benefit the SPO and their findings to clarify the circumstances on the occasion of all the procedures that are open during this period. The procedures mentioned are cases which have been made public and some which have not, but all related to the unauthorised wiretapped conversations. Due to the confidentiality of preliminary investigations, specific details will not be revealed”, Janeva said today.
Otherwise, tomorrow the SPO has summoned the Mayor of the Center Andrej Zernovski. He, as reported by the municipality has been summoned over the ordered ‘slaps’ against him and the demolition of the barrack of the municipality in 2013.
The Mayor of the Center has already been once at the SPO, where he gave a statement concerning the project “Skopje 2014” and the urban planning of “Mal Ring”.
