President Gjorge Ivanov received the Deputy – President of the government and a Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Miro Cerar.
Regarding the Macedonian Euro-Atlantic integrations, Ivanov has expressed hope that the longstanding open and strong support from Slovenia will continue in the future with the goal of opening Macedonia’s accession negotiations with the EU and NATO.
“Regarding the political occurrences in our country, the Macedonian president stressed that even though at the referendum the people have expressed their sovereign will and didn’t accept the Prespa Agreement, the Parliament didn’t take that into account, and the majority of MPs acted contrary to the people’s will”- said the press release issued by the president’s cabinet.
