The President for now has no comment over the death of Kosta Krpač, said Ivanov’s Cabinet to “Meta”.
“If there is a reaction, you will be informed”, stated the Presdient’s Cabinet, when answering the question whether Ivanov will make a statement about the incident where one of the people he pardoned together with 55 other officials and their close associates, was found dead.
Today, the Special Public Prosecutor said publicly that Kosta Krpač has never had criminal proceedings against him and he never was a suspect, and that they are still waiting for a response to the request they submitted about the data regarding where the President of the Republic of Macedonia recieved such information that this person had allegedly criminal procedeedings ahainst him.
The SPO strongly denied allegations from some media outlets that the prosecution was putting pressure on Kosta Krpač .
Krpač, yesterday afternoon was found dead in his bedroom after allegedly firing from his balcony on the street Naroden Front in the neighbourhood of Kapishtec, around 13:20.
MOI reported that the person was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. Next to the body they found the weapon which was probably used in the incident..
Today, from Bitola, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said he would not comment on the case and will leave the investigation to continue.
