For companies in the manufacturing, metal and electrical industry, the impact of the current crisis can already be felt, especially after the cancellation of already scheduled visits by foreign companies, who were potential future investors.
This can be seen in the survey carried out by the Economic Chamber of Macedonia for the performance of companies in terms of the current political crisis.
The cancellations or delays of the visits from these foreign companies are mostly from EU countries and countries from the Middle East.
From the beginning of the crisis, until now, especially in the last few months, consumption in the domestic market has declined.
If the crisis is prolonged, it could have an impact on the signing of new contracts in the textile industry for next season. Many industries may have to brace themselves for change, as to what kind of change, only time will tell.
