The sixth annual “Summit 100” for business leaders from Southeast Europe will be held in Skopje on October 16th and 17th. The event will feature 100 renowned business leaders, five prime ministers of countries in the region – Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro – as well as representatives of the European Commission.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Summit 100” and Alkaloid General Director Zivko Mukaetov said at the press conference that this event is unique because it opens opportunities for businesses to connect and the utilization of the common potential of the countries in the region.

“On a global outlook, our markets are small, but uniting interests and capacities in a joint venture, we can be seriously internationally competitive and simultaneously turn global business attention to the investment potential of the countries of the Western Balkans, such as Croatia and Slovenia”, said Mukaetov .

One of the goals is to reduce and unify the customs procedures of countries in the region that can be recognized for good food and tourism.

The prime ministers of the region will be presented with the conclusions, and they will reflect on the “New Deal for the New Age”, which is also the slogan of this year’s Summit.

One of the main speakers is the transport commissioner Violeta Bulc, representatives of leading companies such as Gorenje, BMW, Podravka, Philip Morris, Uber, Bambi and representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank.
