The EU gave 100,000 euro for helping the migrants in Macedonia

-

90.656 euro in humanitarian funds had been given by the EU to the Republic Macedonia to help deal with the large influx of migrants.

The money was provided to the Red Cross of Macedonia to give help to around 4600 people in the next three months, through the Fund for urgent dealing with catastrophes of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, reported the EU mission to Skopje.

The financial support is intended, before all, for the Reception center where exile-seekers go to in Skopje, as well as for the railroad stations on the southern and northern borders of the country.

“This support will cover the basic needs, such as primary health coverage, water supply, food, hygiene packets, blankets, clothes, shoes, baby products,” was reported by the EU mission in Skopje.
