Elections have prolonged external testing and have moved sport tournaments

-

External testing of students this year was moved a few days later, however it is not because of the elections, the Ministry of Education told “Meta” unofficially, in response to what teachers and parents believe is the reason why the school year has been extended.

“This does not mean that the school year will be prolonged, but only that deadlines have been moved for external testing. In the week of June 5 there will certainly not be testing”, said an unofficial source from the Ministry of Education & Science. (MES)

“Meta” has discovered again from teachers from primary schools, that due to the early parliamentary elections scheduled for June 5, the schools received a new action plan for the June session.
Sports clubs have reacted to the decision made by the MES, the delay means that students will miss the already scheduled matches.

“We have scheduled a tournament at that time in a neighboring country. This means that some students will be not be able to attend. Most probably we will have to cancel our participation in the tournament. We have a timetable which we work with and knowing that external testing will end on June 10, we organised matches after that date. Now everything has been moved”, said Vlado, a coach in a school handball club.
