EC of VMRO-DPMNE: The law that covers unambiguous issues must be respected

-

In regards to the formulation of the ballot question for the referendum, the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE believe that in order to see the will of the citizens clearly, the law that covers unambiguous issues must be respected. This was concluded at last night’s meeting of the party’s Executive Committee.

“The EC gave its full and unequivocal support to party leader Hristijan Mickoski, to represent the party’s views in the further course of the leaders’ meeting. Macedonian citizens deserve a government that will truly be guided by European principles for respecting the Constitution and laws, especially for important issues regarding decisions on the country’s future, such as Macedonian integration into the European Union and NATO”, reads the statement.

The EC of the VMRO-DPMNE party wants current concepts for financing political parties and the formation of a technical government to be realized in accordance with the Przino model before each election.

“This is the only way voters are guaranteed that the government will not abuse their votes, that is, that the opposition will have the opportunity to act appropriately in the case of possible counterfeiting and will not allow a repeat of the local elections. Zoran Zaev’s attempts to manipulate the public with fictitious arguments that someone is seeking amnesty for some crime is frivolous”, the statement added.
