The use of Albanian language in accordance with the Ohrid Agreement and the Constitution equally with the Macedonian language, makes society stronger, more united and more stable. Circling in that way the normative obligations from the Ohrid peace agreement, announced today DUI in their reaction to VMRO-DPMNE’s announcement that it will not negotiate or allow bilingualism in Macedonia and the prolonging of the SPO’s mandate.
“The rule of law in the country is an obligation for all political parties and presents a condition for continuing towards the Euro-Atlantic integrations. The Judiciary reforms, the transparency and the revising the controversial judicial processes are a necessary obligation for returning the trust of the citizens in the system”, stated DUI’s press release.
Party’s representatives have stressed that since the start of the political crisis in the country, the Democratic union for integration has insisted on transparent closure of the process by a complete revealing of the scandal with the massive and illegal telephone tapping and taking full responsibility.
“DUI remains dedicated to one cohesive society, equal and integrated into the Euro – Atlantic union and is calling upon the opposing sides to act with a historical responsibility towards the processes that the country and the region are facing with. Because of that, they should be doing rational and not emotional evaluations”, stated DUI’s reaction.
