Late last night, DUI’s presidency has decided to propose Hazbi Lika, Bujar Osmani, Bilent Saliu, Kreshnik Bektashi and Sadula Duraku for ministers in the new government.
Hazbi Lika will be a vice-prime minister for the political system and relations among the communities. In the period between 2005 and 2009, he was the Mayor of the municipality of Tetovo.
DUI’s spokesperson shall be a vice president for Euro-Integrations. In the period between 2008 and 2011, he was Minister of Health.
Sadula Duraku has been proposed as a new minister for environmental issues, and at the moment he is the Mayor of the Municipality of Lipkovo, and in the government of SDSM and DUI, he was a Minister of Agriculture.
Kreshnik Bektashi, who until recently was an economic promoter in Brussels, shall be the new Minister of the economy and Bilent Saliu has been proposed as the new Minister of Justice.
DUI’s party leader, Ali Ahmeti, as soon as the party’s meeting was over said that he is pleased with the proposals for new ministers. He said that the mandate of the ministers shall be four years regardless if someone will like that or not.
When asked by a journalist whether he expects Besa to be a part of the new government, Ahmeti said that he cannot answer that because they are having talks with SDSM and the Alliance of the Albanians.
The Vice-President of DUI, Teuta Arifi said that these people shall be the new reformatory ministers that will implement the needed reforms. She confirmed that she will not be a part of the new government and said that she will run for a mayor of Tetovo, because, she wants to solve the problems that the city of Tetovo has.
