Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov said that there is still no proposal for resolving the name dispute, but mediator Matthew Nimetz was encouraged by the Macedonian side to come up with an initial framework as early as next week.
“We do not have a proposal on the table to resolve the name dispute. We decided to encourage the mediator, Matthew Nimetz to come out as soon as possible, even as soon as next Wednesday, with some sort of initial framework that will serve or give direction for substantial progress, and we announced willingness to engage as Foreign Ministers directly, something that has not been done so far”, said Macedonian Foreign Minister, Nikola Dimitrov, in last night’s interview for TV 21.
According to him, Macedonia can not be Greek only, because the geographical region is large and has three countries.
