It now has been confirmed, that Dejan Mitrovski – Urko, the former Head of Security to the former Prime Minister and current leader of the VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, was the person driving the BMW which was involved in a car accident in the early hours of the morning in Kisela Voda. His vehicle hit a 22-year-old motorcyclist who has been left in critical condition and fighting for his life. This was confirmed by the police report from the accident, reported today the media portal “Nova TV”.
The police report confirms that the accident took place 30 minutes after midnight at the crossroads of Boris Trajkovski Boulevard and Nevena Georgieva Dunja street and the end of Juzen Boulevard.
In the accident, the motorcyclist was identified as 22-year-old Stojancho Andonov, born 1994, whose motorcycle, a “Honda CBR 900”, was not registered and had no license plate. The police report says that the motorcyclist came from the right of the road and while crossing the sidewalk he was hit, and then thrown to the glass window and aluminum frame of the butcher “Soleta” and the driver’s body hit the billboard on the sidewalk.
The motorcyclist was transported to the City Hospital “Saint Naum Ohridski” where doctors have concluded that the boy has serious injuries from the accident and is in critical condition.
At 2:00am, the Public Prosecutor Katerina Kolarevik was notified, and the police report states she did not attend the scene of the accident, but handed the investigation over to the police.
“On the 27th of July at 00:40am on the Boris Trajkovski Boulevard in Skopje a motor accident occurred between a BMW car with Skopje registration number plates, the driver, M.D. is from Skopje, and a “Honda CRB” motorcycle, the rider, C.A. is also from Skopje. The accident has inflicted life-threatening injuries to the motorcyclist, he has been admitted to the “Naum Ohridki” City Hospital. An investigation underway into the incident is being carried out by Skopje police”. It was stated in a bulletin issued by the MOI today.
Dejan Mitrevski – Urko was dismissed from Gruevski’s security detail in September 2014, the reasons for his dismissal were not made public.
His name was also mentioned in the wire-tapped conversations which were published by the leader of the opposition last year.
