Brima: The majority of citizens think that the change of government was necessary

57% of the citizens trust the new government and 37% look upon it with a distrust. The government enjoys the greatest trust by the ethnic Albanians i.e. 71% and it enjoys the least trust among the ethnic Macedonians i.e. 51%, showcases the new polls conducted by “Brima Gallup” that was carried out from the 2-12 June.

The polls showed that Macedonia needed a change of government. That is the opinion of 69% of the people who took part in the survey, and only 24% think that the situation was good with the previous government.

The most distrustful people towards the government are among the VMRO-DPMNE supporters and among those who have claimed they will not vote in the next elections while the government enjoys most of the trust among SDSM supporters which is followed by DUI, then DPA.

62% of the people that took part in the polls think that the election of Zoran Zaev as the Prime Minister is a good solution while 29% think it is a bad solution.

66% of the people are convinced that the storming of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia on the 27th of April was a planned scenario while 21% believe it was a spontaneous act.
