At least 10 people dead and 15 wounded in Istanbul, no Macedonians were injured

At least 10 people were killed and 15 wounded in the centre of Istanbul, after a suicide bomber detonated explosives near a group of tourists who were looking around
The Consul of the Republic of Macedonia in Istanbul, Zeri Abaz, stated for “Meta” that according to the information received so far, no Macedonian citizens were killed, or injured m deaths or injuries Macedonian citizens. They say that no Macedonian citizens have contacted the Consulate, but they are available to all Macedonian citizens present in Istanbul.
Turkish police and eye-witnesses have testified that the scene was truly horrific with scattered body parts of the dead bystanders.
The blast occurred in central Sultanahmet Square, beside the biggest tourist attraction, the mosque “Sultan Ahmed”, also known as the Blue Mosque.
