The Army of the Republic of Macedonia will mark the 25th anniversary of its formation. The main event will take place at the Army Stadium in Skopje’s city park, starting at 19h. As was announced, the President Gjorge Ivanov and the Minister of Defense will address be addressing the attendees.
President Ivanov will give awards to the Command for training and doctrines, the honorary battalion and the 4th mechanized infantry battalion of the first mechanized infantry brigade.
At the start of the celebration, which will be attended by the highest dignitaries of all state institutions, local municipalities, and embassies and civil organizations, there will be an honorary platoon, which will shoot 10 shells from artillery weapons.
